I plan to keep things simple in this blog as and focus on three primary categories: Biblical, Theological, and Practical.
The “Biblical” category will contain writings on Biblical Studies, such as Old and New Testament and Greek and Hebrew. “Theological” will contain things pertaining to the theological category across the board, such as Systematic, Biblical, Historical, and even Hermeneutics. “Practical” will include Practical Theology, such as Preaching and Pastoral Ministry.
I chose these three categories for a specific reason. The Pastor should serve as a theologian and, as such, should be conversant in these three categories to some extent. In my opinion, the pastor should read widely in all areas of theological discipline and not just commentaries for his Sunday sermons. Having these three categories with their sub-categories helps me to read in these areas and think broadly.
